At least my speakers work for playing sounds elsewhere correctly, but if I plug in my mike, it acts like a megaphone through the speakers instead of being recorded. Their "diagnostic" tells me everything's working! NO, it isn't, I either can't hear the ECHO test girl or I can't hear what I'm recording on the test.

Either the mike or the speakers work, not both. FWIW, I haven't been able to get Skype to work since the Realtek fiasco.
